3. Insights into eLearning Interviews by the eLCP team

Untitled design.png

Project Description

This project was part of cohort 1 of the eLearning Community Project (eLCP).

It gives new (and experienced) eLearning developers an opportunity to create "one amazing eLearning course".  It offers real-life experience in building a course with an international, remote team - on a volunteer basis. At the end of the project, each participant receives source files so they may share the artifact.

Tools Used: Articulate Storyline 360, Adobe Illustrator, Slack, Trello

Role: Project Lead

Project Description

(Still In Development)

COVID-19 affected the state of the workforce in unprecedented ways. Many people used to coming into work everyday, now need to work from home while their spouses, partners, children, and other residents are also home all day. This sample includes a storyboard developed in Canva, and a prototype of the app developed in Adobe XD.

Learning Objective: By the end of this learning experience, the user will be able to maintain or improve productivity while balancing self-care; develop lasting virtual connections with their remote co-workers; and/or effectively manage a remote team.

Tools Used: Adobe XD, Canva

Role: Instructional Designer and eLearning Developer

5. Text-Message Learning Experience

Copy of Untitled Design.png

Project Description

This learning experience was submitted to a conference competition. Responding to a brief requesting a COVID-19 learning solution, I created a text-message based guide that is accessible, adaptable, and appropriate for all ages. Anyone with access to a cell phone with SMS features can enroll. Works for those who are hard of hearing or users with vision problems (text-to-speech conversion). Users don’t need a smartphone or internet access. The text can be translated into multiple languages. Focus is on content over app design. This is important for emergency information services.

Tools Used: Arist Text Message Platform, Canva

Role: Instructional Designer and eLearning Developer
